I have an early build 69 Convertable Corvette. Nov 22-68. I have been looking for the original style and dated seat belts for 5 years now with poor results. I recently purchased a Parts lot, (complete big block car in baggies) with seatbelts dated 34 E 68 (should be Aug 23 68) The webbing is in ok condition, the pinch rollers are rusted to death and chrome of course are garbage, the buckles look good, a little rust on the bottom side and work but are missing the GM logo, My interior is Black, and these are Fathom green. I have gone through the archives trying to find out if I can re-dye the webbing, and change the color of the buckles and buy parts with not real clear results. 1. I am trying to figure out if this set is worth my time and money, and they may be too far out date wise. 2. If and where I can buy the male ends with the pinch rollers, and the logo, 3. Should I try to sell what I have and buy some that are already restored and dated, and if I go this route, where can I purchase them from. I am to the point where I just might bite the bullett for nice dated belts if they are available, my car deserves it. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

Re: Early 69 Seatbelt
The buckles are unique to Corvettes, but the webbing is common. To get the correct webbing, search e-bay and find a set of seat belts from about 67 to early 70's for ANY GM product. Looking carefully at the photos, you should be able to tell if the webbing has the right number of "panels" to match a Corvette. Then e-mail the seller and ask the length of the belts. You san swap the webbing onto your buckles. If I remember correctly, several of the midsize cars had rear seat belts that were similar length to the Corvette and were usually in good condition as they were commonly tucked back into the seat.
