69 Brass door alignment wedges

I have an early build 69 convert. and the door alignment wedges have been missing for some time now. I recently aquired some wedges off an early build coupe. My question is will these work, are they the same size for convert. as the coupe? I have heard that they are 2 different sizes. Please help,

As far as I know, these brass door alignment wedges were the same for both coupe and convertible.

Thanks Joe, Ya know the reason I thought there was 2 different style wedges is because a year ago a guy had some on ebay and listed them as "coupe only" Emailed him and he said there was a difference. so I just assumed they were different. That was my only source of info. The books that I have do not explain anything different either.

As I say, as far as I know and can tell, they are the same. However, it so happens that I have an original owner 1969 convertible and I have a friend nearby that has an original owner 1969 coupe. So, I'll try to go over to his house tomorrow and check his out.

I checked the early 1969 coupe that I have access to. The brass wedges are identical to the ones on my late 1969 convertible. That pretty much confirms that the coupe and convertible were the same. The wedges are bout 3-3/4" long overall and about 3/4" wide.
