There is a reposessed C-6 in the lot at my local credit union.

The information they are providing is as follows.

2005 Chevrolet Corvette, V-8, 2 door coupe, power windows, locks and steering, allow wheels, tilt wheel, AT/6-speed manual transmission, cruise control, air conditioning, removable glass roof.

I wish them good luck with the sale. I just bought an 08 for just a shade over that. Vettes aren't selling any better than anything else, so there are deals out there.I found mine ay a small town dealer about 120 miles from home. They were just glad to get rid of it!

According to the Corvette Black book the 2005 Coupe went for $44,245.00 Brand new with no options.

Whatever happened to the $10,000 that these Credit Unions claim occurs when you drive it out of the show room? There is also 3 years of depreciation on the car.

I looked on edmunds.com and the Dealer Retail shows $30,668, Private party $28,885, and trade in $26,521.

If you want it, offer them $30,000 and see what they say. You have the evidence online.

I've got more than enough 68 Corvette strewed all over my garage now, I don't need another one.

Without even checking it out, I figured the money they were asking was "out there"

Maybe I'll look em in the eye and offer $15,000 and see who flinches first

Not much these days. With age comes wisdom and the I really don't give a rat's pitutie if you like it or not attitude and posture.

The wrinkles and scruffy white hair add the finishing touches to the "I just DARE you to mess with me" first impression.

Other than that I'm just a big ole fun lovin squishy bowl of jello Tom.

Just ask cable company rep I threatened to put in intensive care if he didn't straighten out my totally screwed up cable bill.
