I picked up 1.5 '68 seats at Kissimmee yesterday. The complete seat doesn't have a headrest, but it looks like/feels like there is a block-off plate or something like that along the top, with perhaps a screw at each end maybe 6" apart.
I currently have '68 headrest seats in my '69, and the seat back from the "new" seat is in better condition than the one in the car. I want to swap the seat back portions, but only if I can easily add the headrest to the seat back.
Any info on the non-headrest '68 seat back frames would be appreciated. I'm understandably reluctant to take my Xacto knife to the upholstery to cut an opening for the headrest.
New Year regards to all,
Steve
