While looking through my recently-purchased '67 427/435 to compile a "shopping list" to finish off its restoration, I've come across something that I'm not sure if it's alarming or not.
The hood does not have any holes in it to allow for the "427" emblem to be screwed into place. My 427 emblems appear to be glued on to the surface of the hood.
What does that mean for the hood? Is it "wrong"? Are there cases where this would have been OK? Is it a replacement hood from possible damage earlier in its life?
