Re: some one in the Corvette world
Roy, obviously very rare. As you said before, the sponge rubber deteriorates so easily that they all must be in the atmosphere by now. Because it's never judged(top always latched), we may never see one. I vagely remember mine when I replaced it 20 years ago. Wish I took pictures then.

ps I'll post a photo of my "reworked" front corners of my cloth covered w/s later. I had to improvise(guess) since I could never find a photo either.- Top

Re: some one in the Corvette world
Roy,
I'm not sure your Subject header is going to get those with original cars to look at your post. "some one in the Corvette world" is such a broad topic....
Perhaps if you named the subject "Original 56-60 soft top weatherstripping question" or similar, you might get more interest and/or responses.
But, that's just my theory.

Re: Patrick OK I'll try again thanks
The best possible source of knowledge, materials, services, or whatever on C1 convertible tops would be the NCRS Interior & Top guy, John Kennedy. His contact info is on the inside front cover of The Restorer. If he doesn't have pictures, he can paint you a detailed picture with words.- Top
