    '62 Wheel Paint Color

    I know that the fronts of wheels (rims) on '62s with whitewall tires and the full wheel hubcaps were painted black.

    What gloss of black for the front? Gloss, semi-gloss, or flat?

    What about the backs?

      The wheels were dip-primed black, then the face was sprayed with gloss enamel. The primer on the back side was a semi-flat to semi-gloss sheen.
