hello, can anyone give me some tips on installing windshield 1960 vette I have had the posts repaired.I was told to put frame together with windshield then put on car however I have already put the 2 new studs in post do I need take them out and put them in after installing w/s they have allen heads in them so they could be put in after posts are slid under bottom of lower channel would this be the right way to install w/s thanks mike

ST-12 gives a good description of the windshield installation. As shown in the pictures, the studs in the post are in place throughout the frame assembly process. I'm sure it could be done either way. Just be sure that the studs are installed before installing the windshield assy on the body.
