C1 foot pump rubber cup

Some one in a later posting asked about finding a foot pump rubber cup.I don't remember what year they had but there is a difference between 55 and 56-57. If you look at the pic's the 55 R/S is a short rubber cup while the 56-57 L/S is longer, so make sure your getting the one you need that is now on e-bay which fits a 56 to 57.
The one shown is not Corvette because it has a bracket but the cup can be removed from it to use on Corvette . These are vary hard it find. Hope this helped some one! This is a good example of locating parts from other Cars.

Thanks Roy. I appreciate the knowledge being passed along.

Do you have any advice concerning the rubber footpad for the '57 washer lever? I found something that looks pretty close but do you know of a crossover part from something that is correct?

It's a slip on , just about any foot pump GM or other wise will have the same rubber pad but not all . It's flat at the back and having what 3 ridges on the front.
It's the 55 round rubber pad that would be super hard to locate, but again truck used the same unit as Corvette 55.

I'm not pushing E-bay but when I find a super rare part for a C1 I like to post it to help C1 guys & gals.

OK you two guys need to look in e-bay saying (washer pump foot) click on lower post , GM and other makes made foot pump that may not fit your Corvette but are OK to get parts from . This one is from Chevy ! As I say people go to Chevy or olds for many parts and for get Corvette.
