I didn't think it was a good idea for NCRS to validate Corvettes at BG & I still do. I did Roy Sinor a great disservice by implying on the CORVETTE FORUM that he was to busy to respond to our concerns about this on this forum although those were not my exact words. I meant to say that I thought NCRS should give a better explanation given the concerns of a lot of members.No one has given more time & done more for NCRS than Roy. He has taken NCRS to the most respected car organization in the world. I have known Roy for close to 30 years. He & has dad would bring nice cars to the big shows as I did. I apologized to Roy & I want every one to understand what I meant was not what I typed.

You should address your question(s) to your Regional Director... As far as what I've heard, this was NOT Roy's decision alone. The issue was presented to the NCRS BoD (Board of Directors), pros and cons discussed, voted on and approved.

You're right...to single out ONE officer/director of NCRS for this action IS totally unfair!

I never said it was one person's decision. I misstated what I meant about Roy's post that he would not respond to post's because he was busy. I thought, because of a concern of a lot of members a more detailed expiation was in order.

There was a detailed discussion about this at the Florida Judges meeting. Two issues, the first is that NCRS presence at BJ this year was strictly informational, selling spec guides, memberships, and information for "car people" who may not know the organization. Nothing was being done "to the cars" by NCRS at the event. As a second topic, BJ did take the option of ordering the judging records NCRS recently available for all the cars entered that claimed NCRS Judging History. I believe BJ was "correcting" owners who had cars claiming "NCRS Judged" where it could not be verified.

Met over 200 Corvette owners who had heard about NCRS, but didn't know what NCRS was. It was a good to share the word about our great organization and good for NCRS. We signed up lots of new members during the week from all over the U.S. Gary....

Gary I believe that we signed up 98 new members! Got to meet a lot of members that I knew their names but had never seen them before.

I spoke the guys (and gals) working the NCRS "booth", super nice and friendly, suprised you didn't sign up more than 98! For marketing purposes, a great place for introducing the NCRS to potential new members, lots of car guys wandering around there.

You guys also scored a great spot to watch all the action!
