'57 side Flags

I purchased a very used '57 and it came with side flags only without the "Fuel Injection" emblem. It didn't have the original engine so I'm not sure if it was an original FI car.
My question is, Is it possible that some '57 came with side flags only without the "Fuel Injection" emblem on the fenders?

Not from the factory, although many owners added the flags for "looks".

Pierre,

Could you please tell me the approximate build date for your '57?
I have run across this with 2 very early builds, including mine. Someone suggested here before that some dealerships may have added the flags prior to sale on some early cars.

When on the show room some dealers added them for Looks as John said.

Many dealer in 1955 added GM accessory S/S wire hub caps( 1955 only accessory caps) or GM wire wheels to jazz up the Corvette in the show room.

Dave,
The build date is third week of June 57. Vin is in the E57S10048XX range. Not really early '57.
