C1 - brass radiator tag

Hi all, could someone tell me the orientation and location of the brass radiator tag. Thanks in advance, Susan

Susan,

On my '57 it's centered horizontally and vertically on the engine side of the top tank between the top hose fitting and the filler neck (on the rear face, not the top), reading right side up.

Thanks Rod, could you also tell me if it looks like it is soldered onto the rad, any indicating of solder on corners or sides of the tag. Thanks again, Susan

My original 55 never touched top tank , it also had the little tag "V'" and don't know if this was on all 55's

Yes, it is soldered to the tank.
