hi bill have you published this data ??? how many of the origional 2157 L78 do you know of in existance today ????

proteam corvette has a 65 bb car for sale for 300 grand vin is 22944 built july 13 65 .......... my car also built july 13 but the vin is 21679... this dosent make sense to me

Don, Just a guess, but I would think the car at Proteam probably has an A.O. Smith body, your car most likely has a St Louis built body. FWIW Dave

They probably mis-read the "Birthday Book" - it shows July 23rd for #22944, and July 8th for #21679; or, as noted above, they used the trim tag body build date as the "built" date and it's an A.O. Smith body.
