I have what appears to be a 1102043 generator (w/o tach drive) for my '57, but it has no tag (rebuilt years ago, probably a PS gen, but it looks right). Can someone help ID this, please? It seems to conform to the JG description, end plates, etc, but I'm not sure about the position of the pivot holes or bushing size. JG states "All 1956 and 1957 engines used generator end frames that mount close to the exhaust manifolds", but doesn't give a dimension. Without being able, at this time, to verify by checking the fit between the body and the manifold per the JG, can someone provide a dimension from the case to the centerline of the front mounting hole and the OD of the rubber bushings?
Also have a 1102097 8B2 generator which doesn't appear to be a Corvette number. Can anyone provide an identity, please?
One more. How long was the 3728514 mounting bracket used? Was it just '56-'57, or was it used in later years? Trying to determine how rare (hard to find) it might be.
Thanks in advance for any help. Much appreciated as always.
