Thanks for all the good information and insights. I hope your observations make it into the JG manual soon; it would definitely save future 68+ Corvette owners a lot of angst when they get to analyzing their car's brake components.

I agree, I'm sure it only takes a couple of missing grains of sand to close the loop on the 6 and make it look like an 8.

If you look at the last 6, it looks like an 8 also, yet there seems to be no argument that the last number is a 6.
