I'm sneaking in a semi-non-Corvette question here. I have a '50 GMC pickup with what appear to be the original Delco shocks, with date codes 5-C-50, 2-C-50, and 2-A-50. Does this sound like the Delco dating system on early Corvettes? If so, what do the first two characters represent?
THANKS.
THAT IS THE WAU DELCO DATED SHOCKS TIL 1963 ALL DELCO SHOCKS 5 C 50 IS 5TH MONTH 3RD WEEK 1950 OS MAY 3RD WEEK 1950 AND 5 C 50 IS FEBRURARY 3 RD WEEK 1950.
