    C2 power brake kit

I just won a power brake set-up on eBay; it includes a booster, master cylinder, proportioning valve, and mounting bracket. They are supposed to be new, but I don't know if they're new reproductions or what. There were only 11 minutes to bid when I got home, so there was no time to ask anyone on this site.

I see that a new booster sells for $349 in the catalogs. I paid $187 for the entire set-up. Did I get a good deal or am I missing something here? What else do I need to install it? Thanks.

No way to tell what you got without photos.

You'll also need the vacuum fitting and hose from the intake manifold, the nut plate and rivets that go in the wiper plenum where the top legs of the booster attach to the firewall and the two bolts, and the bolt-on striker that goes on the brake pedal arm to activate the brake light switch. You'll also need to knock out the two lower studs on the pedal support that currently attach your master cylinder, as the booster has studs on it that go through those two holes with nuts on the inside.
