    C-1 Vin Stamp on Frame

    Doing a 1960 and the numbers are very faint. Does anyone know many numbers are stamped on a 60 Frame? It look like S103---, which would be seven. One letter and six numbers. The reason I ask is I just did a 57 frame and it had ten. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

      It should be the same, I've always seen two vin stamps within a few inches of each other, on the frame rail top. Look for the indent in the frame from the stamp. Try some rust buster & a wire brush to bring out the numbers better. Hope this helps.
