Alternator ID

Hey all,
If anyone has their numbers book handy, I've got an 1100217 78 Amp alternator from August 65. I know it's not Corvette, just curious what it is & my books are at the shop. Thanks

Yeah, never mind. Funny story for those interested.
I was asked to look at a 66 small block car for a friend. The alternator was questioned. The owner found a "restored" alternator - "a rare hi output 78 amps!" - with the correct date code for his car. Obviously, this is the wrong part for a Corvette. But I just couldn't put my finger on the problem without the p/n list in front of me.
Well, the back half is correct. The pulley & fan were replated. The front half had the wrong part number & looked funny. So with a little help, the part number was identified as an 85 Buick station wagon. So thanks to Louis, for smacking me in the head & getting me to wake up.
Guys, there's a morral here. Don't buy something before checking things out for yourself first. Just because the guy says it's restored, doesn't mean it's right! (Right Paul?)

No Corvette was originally supplied with an alternator of that much output until the C4 era. Period.
