Best Vendor for Emblems & Radiator Cap - C3?

I appreciate everyone's patience with me. I've been asking a lot of basic and rudimentary questions lately - I know! I do have the AIM, Judging Manual and 7072 manual on order from the NCRS site, so hopefully this will limit my basic questions.

Todays question: I need to replace my gas door emblem on my 71 as well as the Radiator cap (Brass). I need the RC-15 / #15, correct?

Where is the best place to get these two items? I'm fine with ordering from 2 different places if that is the best. I've looked at Paragon, Trim Parts, Corvette Central,etc. Some of the parts vary in price by $6-$8. Also, regarding the emblems, some vendors (Eckler's) list the "Show" and "Correct" options Others only have one option (so I have no idea what version they have). I want to keep my car as correct as possible. I'm not so much worried about the price but I want to make sure I'm getting the right product to keep my car original.

Call John Pirkle at (706) 860-9047 for the RC-15 radiator cap. As a second alternative, Long Island Corvette Supply (LICS) is considered to have a good reproduction.

Trim Parts is probably the best source for the gas door emblem. Many of the other suppliers sell Trim Parts manufactured parts. Call and get the best price and shipping.

LICS's RC-15 repro is not correct for a 71. It has the wrong rivet configuration.

Last I knew, John Pirkle was done with radiator cap restoration. Previous to that he was (incorrectly) replating them in cadmium rather than zinc.

I used Trim Parts for my 72 front emblem and it was great. As I recall, they make/made two different qualities of emblems. One is from the old mold, the other one was from a new mold with a slightly higher price. The latter was well worth it, imo.

I called John Pirkle and he doesn't have the Radiator caps anymore. He said the market for them has been horrible.
