57 Headlight Bucket

Does anyone have a link or picture showing a correct headlight bucket for a 1957 Corvette? I would like a picture showing the front of the bucket and specifically the bezel mounting tabs. My car has one good bucket and another rusted out bucket. I purchased a replacement from a parts dealer, but I don't feel it is correct.

My bucket (that I believe to be original) has (3) tabs on it for mounting the chrome bezel. The bucket I was sold has only (1) tab and no other provisions or mounting holes for additional tabs. My vender is telling me that he thinks his is correct and that my original is incorrect.

I really don't see how this is the case since there would be no way to secure the bezel to any other headlight bucket that didn't have (3) tabs.

Can anyone help me with this?

I don't have a photo, but all of the 57's I restored had three tabs on the headlight bucket for the headlight bezel screws.

If you can wait until tonight mine are out and I can get you a pic then. I remember 3 mounting tabs on mine also.

three tabs correct. take the three tabs off the rusted bucket and rivet them to the dealer-provided bucket. good luck. mike

i believe ashley is referring to the headlight bucket(that fastens to the fiberglass front clip) and to which the headlight bezel then attaches to. the ebay item is the headlight dish, which are extremely common to come by. regards, mike
