I don't think you will find a trim tag as on C2 or C3, but rather a decal on the bottom side of your console door listing all standard and optional features including paint and trim. Just hope that if door has been replaced they saved the decal.

The 1988 models did include a 35th anniversary edition. Some called them "Snow Balls". They were white on white with white wheels and special badging.

Don, By 1988 the trim tag was part of the SPI (Service Parts Identification) Label. The label is either under your center armrest or under the cargo lids in the storage area. You will see a whole series of RPO codes. (See attached example from my 89) There was a 35th Annaversary model Z01. Look for Z01 40 41 on your SPI

            chip and Don-----

Yes, for C4's the "service parts identification label" replaced the earlier "trim tags". There's good and bad in this. The good is that the labels contain much more information than the earlier trim tags; folks with C2 and C3 Corvettes only wish they had the information found on the C4 labels. The bad is that the labels are more-or-less "semi-permanent". Making matters even worse, most C4 labels are under the console lid. Console lids on C4 cars are VERY life-limited components and there's no easy way to transfer the labels from one to another.

              So true..

The one in the photos is in a bag in my warehouse due to a lid swap. Will put it back when judged. Other year C4s have them in the rear cargo area which seems more permanent. Eric

Which C4's have them in the rear? As far as I know, 1988-96 had them under the console lids. Was it 84-87 that had them in the rear?

                    more on location...

The 84-86 TIM&JG states "on the glove box door or behind the seats" 86-89 TIM&JG states "on glove box door" only. Eric Not sure about 90 to 94. Eric

My 1992 has it under the console lid. I thought that all 1988-96 were like this. Whereabouts in the cargo area is it located for an 84 and 95?

Under the drivers side storage bin door on my 84 and under the passenger side bin door on my 95 Conv. They are not on the door themselves but in the storage area. I will take a digital picture later to demonstrate. ERic

udner the console lid is big white label. that is like the build sheet, tells you everything about the car including the color and trim.
