      Yes, the camshaft used for 1953-55 Corvette with 6 cylinder was the same as the cam used for 1954-55 utility (trucks over 1-1/2 ton) with 261 6 cylinder engine. It was also used for many 1956-62 truck applications. It was GM PART #3836484 and it carried casting number 3836390. This same, exact part numbered cam was used from 1953 right through 1962. It was discontinued from SERVICE in May, 1975.

      I do not have the specs of the GM #3836484 handy. However, I feel pretty confident that it's what the Sealed Power CS293 is a copy of. You might try cross-referencing the 3836484 part number to Sealed Power and see if it comes up CS293. I expect it will.
