How about this Rotary 4 post lift?

Does anyone have one of these lifts? ....or know enough about them to be able to recommend them?

    Thanks,
    Bob S.

Re: How about this Rotary 4 post lift?

Have two of them, one bought in 1995 and another one in 1996. Great way to put 4 Corvettes in a two car garage. Easy to put together, I unpacked the units and put both them together myself. No problems using them so far. The only thing I did to my garage door was limit how far it goes up from the original installed positon and back in the cars that will go up. The door raises and stops above the front fenders and hood. This gives plenty of room to drive Corvettes in/out of the garage but not other cars with higher roof. As an added safey measure I installed a bolted wooden block in the tracks of the garage door to make sure the limit does not change in case something malfunctions in the garage door adjusted raising limit. If you buy one recommend you pick it up at the shippers terminal and let them sit it on the trailor with a fork lift. This way when you get it home you can take your time taking it apart on the trailor from the way it is shipped. The ramps are the heaviest pieces. Mine were purchased from Auto Lifters of America and were a lot less expensive in 1995 and 1996 than the one you posted. A lot of steel in a lift.

Nice! Hey.....I checked the ad. Do the Corvettes come with it too? It doesn't say they're "not" included!

I'm actually looking at their 2 post lift for my new shop. Rotary or Bend-Pak will be my choice.

Here is my Revolution lift by Rotary. I trayed the ceiling above it to get more height above it. I've had it for several years with zero problems or issues. I purchased mine direct from www.revolution.com.

Took about a half day to assemble. You will need help or a engine hoist to install the ramps(very heavy). Also excellent customer service from Revolution.

The link below the picture is of the raised ceiling.

I bought a "tech-lift" at last year's (2006) regional Boston show it was around $2400 picked up. put it together alone (not recommended, but any help is hard to find sometimes). It works great and seems to be holding up o.k.

              Jim,

You must be pretty confident that your 69 is leak free with that pretty white top underneath... :-) Looks great.

Bob, what part of the country are you from? If your near Boston try TEC lifts.

TEC is one of our Chapter sponsors. The picture is just after installation last September.

I mean trim (corner molding) in a "tray" in a garage! Looks great!
