I used Bob Kunz to rebuild the carbs on my 54. Bob did a great job. I think Bob is in Missouri, but I don't have his address handy.

Bob spend a fair amount of time with me on the phone, and emphasized the importance of a correctly restored fuel pump. He also advised me to use racing gas because it does not degrade as quickly as pump gas. The phone discussions were before I committed to shipping Bob the carbs.

I think Bob's son is the actual rebuilder of the YH carbs in the shop. Which is a good thing, because I think Bob is retiring soon.

I shipped the carbs and intake at the same time. Bob paints the intake for you if you want, so you want to have some paint ready to go (I used rattle cans).

The carbs came back looking and working great. I am 100% pleased.

Bob isn't cheap. But the quality justifies the price. For the stuff you are working on, this is a no-brainer. Go with Bob.
