      Re: Password trouble

      Jim,

Your password and username and stored in a cookie on your machine. There are several Internet Security programs that will automatically delete cookies, or you can set most browsers to not store cookies.

Until you can find the offending software and change it's settings your stuck with this behavior.

Try to remember what changed on your machine right before the problem started.

        Re: Password trouble

I have had the same problem on two of my computers. I finally deleted all the cookies and re-entered my information in the set preferences box. My wife's machine will allow me to access the DB thru AOL, but will not keep the cookies. Do it thru IE and everything is OK????

          Thanks Clem and John:
The strange thing is that my laptop and my desk top both did whatever they did at the same time. it's possible that when I used thye laptop at home through the wireless server, it logged on to Comcast and did the cookie thing... my laptop is worikg fine at work (when I access NCRS at lunch time )I'll try to figure out the cookie thing here, can someone talk me through it??? Boy is it a pain in the a$$ to put in all this profile stuff every time...

            Re: Password trouble

Jim, go to the start menu, control panel, internet options, browsing history, delete, then delete cookies. Once this is done come back to the NCRS DB and reset your preferences
