I plan on changing the antifreeze in a 1966 C2 coupe that I just recently bought and when I picked up the new Prestone antifreeze at my local automotive, it says on it "Prestone Long-Life AF/C antifreeze which is good for all vehicles. Is this okay for a '60's GM product?? It does say that it is suitable for an aluminum rad/engine, etc. Any thoughts??

You will find COPIOUS amounts of information in the archives on this one. In short, my opinion is that the current Prestone product will work just fine. That's very likely what I'm going to be using in my "ZL-1" project. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: C2 and Antifreeze...........
I've searched in vain for technical information on this product and have come up blank. I have no idea if it has an IAT, OAT, or HOAT corrosion inhibitor package. IAT is obsolete, OAT has some issues, but the industry is in agreement that most HOATs are suitable of all vehicles with any combination of iron, aluminum, and brass cooling system components, which includes all vintage vehicles.
I recommend HOAT antifreeze for all vintage cars including all vintage Corvettes and the best current formulation I know of for is Zerex G-05, which is OE on all Chrysler, Ford, and Mercedes Benz vehicles.
Unless I know what the Prestone corrosion inhibitor formulation is, I would not use it in any car I own.
As stated, if you search his forum using the above acronyms, you should find all the discussions with all the whys and wherefores.
