2008 Dallas Judging Retreat

Just returned from the Judging Retreat held at the Hilton DWF Lakes Executive Conference Center in Texas. This was an absolutely wonderful NCRS event. The level of instruction offered in the classroom, as well as during the "hands on" judging activity, was outstanding. Thanks are due Roy Sinor, the classroom instructors,team leaders and car owners,who made their cars available for the judging exercise. This was a very well planned and executed event. It simply doesn't get any better then having the opportunity to spend a few days sharing knowledge regarding the Corvette and learning how to judge these cars fairly and consistently on the basis of originality and condition. For those who have not yet attended a Judging Retreat, plan to take advantage of the opportunity when it is presented.

I whole heartedly agree. Thanks to all who volunteered to make this event possible. I would also like to add a big thanks to Dave Brigham for the organization of the event. Arranging all of the logistics of the classrooms with moving instructors, and the hands on judging with out all of us climbing over each other was a miracle.

I also want to encourage everyone who wants to know what NCRS is about to attend this event at your earliest opportunity. This was my first time attending and I expect I will attend again when it is offered.

I hope after everyone gets home and gets organized to be able to provide some pictures and information about the event here on the website for those who didn't get to attend.
