Another Retreat Thank you!

Please allow me to extend my thanks to all involved in another outstanding NCRS event! It was even more informative then I expected! The seminars were fantastic! Of course my technical knowledge will continue to grow, but more importantly I learned where my weakness lies. Relaying the reason for my deductions to Terry "the car car owner" seems to be quite difficult for me. Hopefully I will learn to become more tactful with my wording, and give the owners a more positve judging result.
Again please accept my deepest thanks to my teachers and coaches, without mentioning names you guys were Great!

Also I want to thank all involved in organising and spending a lot of time, money and hard work in this event!!! A job well superbly done!!!

One suggestion for next year: more courses on specific subject (like at the Nationals) for those already attended the judging proces courses at other events (or previous judging retreats). E.g. courses on carburator setups, over year changes, stamppad judging, straight axle/mid year/shark attention points, etc.

Also a big thanks to the car owners lending their cars for this event (especially the owner of the spectacular orange '69 L88 which I had to judged).

Nevertheless a priceless event, it was very nice to see so many familiar faces and also being there when the Superball was on teli was an 'interresting' bonus!!!

Rob, I was very lucky to be teamed up with Erik, your Chapter secretary I believe. It was very nice to share the learning experience with him. When I bought my car ,I never thought that it would lead into making worldwide friendships! Very nice to meet you Erik, and good luck with your car!

As to your suggestion above I believe that the advanced class did have the opportunity to choose from several more specific courses. It was also decided that the retreat would be every other year, in order to keep the attendance up.

I'll second you on the thanks to the owners of the cars, they were incredible! Your 69 L88, as well as the 71 LS6 Erik and I had, just awesome! Come on 2010!
