Upper Window Guide/Stop Part #

I'm attempting get the driver side window to fit properly on my recently acquired '96. Upon removing the trim panel to expose the inside of the door I discovered that the Upper Window Guide/Stop is broken (i.e. half of it was lying on the bottom of the door cavity). It's a plastic part that is attached towards the lower-front of the glass by a bolt that actually passes through the glass panel. If you happen to have a '96 Service Manual it appears in Figure 3 - Door Assembly on page 10-6-4. It is labeled "35 Guide/Stop, Window Upper."

Can anyone provide a GM Part Number for this?

The driver side guide is GM #10243037 and GM lists for about 16 bucks.

The passenger side guide is GM #10243038 and GM lists for about 14 bucks.

You may also require washers GM #8731399; about 75 cents each/ GM list.

I needed a side moulding for my beautiful 93 Buick Roadmaster S/W. Not avaiable. I need a platic guide for the window N/A. I needed a clip for the outside moulding. Guess what? N/A And on and on. I found the cure, a new Lexus. I have owned 2 67 vettes,1968 Impalla, 2 ea 67 chev. S/W, 71 Impala Custom,74 Caprice Estate S/W,73 and 76 Grand Prix Pont.79 Cad. Fleetwood Broughm,I bought new Chev trucks for my parts store for 25 years, ran 4 and 5 at a time,80 olds custom cruiser, 91 Cad Flt. Broughm. 93 Roadmaster.a Pont. Fiero. Most of these were new. I still have a 62 restored Chev truck and my small block C-2.I for got my 50 Olds. Oh forgot my my used GMC milk truck for materials for my dragstrip. Wonder why GM is in trouble? Dale
