    Bowtie Registration

    HELP HELP HELP.
I am attempting to register for National Convention - Bowtie candidate.
I have been Flight Judged 2007, when car was signed-off as Bowtie candidate.
A form was recorded by Team Leader, however I did not get any type of a
sign-off card. I have the 6th edition Judging Refernece Manual, I noticed
we now have a 7th edition, does NCRS actually give a card to owner.
I am thinking I need a card to send in with my application? Or whatever.
I read also that if car is being Bowtie Judged at National Convention
then it cannot be Flight judged at that same time, only if I am trying
for Duntov. Is that accurate? Therefore I would only register one slot
as Bowtie Judging. Thanks for any clarification.....in advance.
My team leader is out of pocket when this was put on discussion page.

      Re: Bowtie Registration

      John,

You are good to go; your car was signed off in all four sections at the Waco event. Several years ago the sign off was moved to the actual event green sheet itself. Many of the cards were getting lost or misplaced. The green sheet is the one piece NCRS keeps for the event record so it made more since to add the sign off to it than to try and keep track of a card.

Your understanding is correct you can not have your car Flight judged at the National if you are having it Bowtie judged unless it is your final Duntov or McLellan judging, those awards are only available at the National.
