Hi everyone. I recently got what I think is a service replacement jack handle for a C3. It has a GM label on it with the part number 3898172.
In comparing this handle to an older one I have I notice that my older handle has sharper edges toward the back open end, a slightly larger pry lip, and the top of the handle has a more squared appearance. The newer handle has a large, sort of rounded rivet, whereas the older one has a similar but flat rivet. Both have three holes, and are pretty similar otherwise.
Am I correct in assuming that the older handle is an original production piece, and would be the most correct for flight judging?
Thanks for any input.
