I don't have a spare tire (or rim) for my '67. Since I don't show my car, I'd like just a useable spare. Any suggestions? Compact tire? Of course, something that will fit in the carrier. Thanks.

Re: C2 spare tire
Since tires within the same general 'class' (e.g. P205-R15) vary from mfgr to mfgr and from model to model in terms of EXACT geometry, one suggestion is to find an 'off-brand' (like ATLAS) non-DOT 775x15 tire that's old stock and use it for your spare. The odds that it will fit like a 'glove' in your spare tire carrier and serve in a 'pinch' to get you out of a roadside emergency are pretty good.
Such can be found at various scrap yards (take offs from junk cars) and don't cost the GNP (probably $15-20)....- Top

Re: C2 spare tire
maybe i'm way off base here but i'd check the wheel off-set to clear brake components first. wouldn't want to get caught in nowheresville with a wheel that rubed the brakes.
