56 to 61 cast iron PG if you need one

Now here is a REAL Corvette PG trans for those that need one and don't know what to look for, the Torque Convertor is what tells that it is truly a Corvette. 33 bolts hold the two pieces to gather , the car has less then haft the number , that how by just looking you know it's a Corvette. Yes tail housing also but could have been added , but this is the real deal. It's good for a 55 but don't need the tail housing to bolt the shifter to and all good for 56 to 61 . Only the date would be wrong for a certain year Corvette!

roy: i'm not so sure that the 33 bolt/nut torque converter is unique to c-1 Corvettes. was at the local automatic tranny rebuilder the other day to pic up the PG for my 57 vette. he had 2 or 3 of the 33 nut toirque converters laying on his shelf and claims he's taken them out of pass cars over the years.mike

Could have but there Corvettes or I also think the FI cars used the same one.
Remember the Corvettes and FI cars had a high red line RPM and GM may have thought they needed extra security for the TC "O" ring!
