One step forward, two steps back.
The internal thermal overload switch in one of my headlight door motors (which I assume is a bimetal switch) is open permanently. Any ideas for repairing this? I don't see this part listed by the normal vendors. Anybody have a source?
The dash switch for the headlight motor operates only intermittently. I have taken the dash switch apart, cleaned it and reassembled it. The contacts are worn. The plastic cams are worn also. The only way the switch works is to push so hard that the rear case moves. Does anyone have any tips? Are parts available?
Thank you for the help.
