    C2 67 Block help

I am somewhat of a rookie here with a question about a block that I have. It has been looked at by several people and the opinions vary. It appears to be an OTC block (see "stamp" picture) with a clear pad (see pics) but I am not sure. The problem is it has slight to zero visible broach marks. So one question is - Can broach marks be removed without decking the block by use of solvents, wire brushes etc..? I say this because I see no other cutting marks on the pad to indicate it was decked. Is there a clear and definitive way of determining if this is a "true" un-stamped block and ruling out the possibility of it having been decked? Thanks

    John,

It does not appear to be decked, to me. If you can provide a clearer picture of the entore deck, including the stamp pad, that would be hlpful.
The picture that you have provided showing a "T", and some machinist markings, is not the stamp pad, but rather the oil pan rail.

I added all the pics that I have at this time. If these don't help tell me what would. Thanks

Looks like something went over the pad.
