What is the part number for the 1953 shocks front and rear.Is the valving number the same as 1954.thaks

According to Noland Adams book, the 1953 front shock part number is 5520278. That's all he has to say about them. If he talks about a rear shock part number I couldn't find it in his book, but then again, I only have extensive reference material for '58-'60.

72 Parts book spec:
front shock from 53 to 62: 3192095
rear shock from 53 to 59: 3192962

I would assume that there are different part numbers for the 53 factory installed shocks then the 54 factory installed shocks, but the valving will be very similar. Eric 3,182
