The aim shows the sleeve and a nut to mount the sleeve. Is there suppose to be a star washer under the nut like I have been led to believe. From what I see in the AIM, there are no rubber washers under the hold down bolts(No top on car), no star washers under the sleeve nut and no bag for the hard top wrench. Is this correct? There are a lot of parts people leading me to believe otherwise.
When I tore-down my '62 for body off restoration, there were rubber washers in place...no star washers. The car was original except for the wiring mess, tires and four coats of paint ...
