Hello all! I have been doing some research into the date markings on the underside of the fiberboard jack cover. I have seen several originals and there are some interesting variations that I am hoping someone might help me understand. Here is what I have seen so far: From an early '72 "26.21 71". From a later '72- "210#1871". From a late '72- "232572". I know that the first digit represents the shift, the second (and 3rd) are the month, the 4th (and 5th) are the day, and the last 2 are the year. Notice the early '72 (June 21, 1971) has a "." between the month and and day and a space between the day and year. The next one (October 18, 1971) has a "#" at the same location and no space between the day and year, and the third (March 25, 1972) is a stream of numbers only. The space between the day and year probably is because the month is only 1 digit while the second one has a 2 digit month. However, the 3rd one has a 1 digit month and no spaces. If anyone can look at theirs and post what they have I would appreciate it. I am especially interseted in the configuration of an early '69. Thanks!
