That's Grand Sport #003....the Mecom car raced for a time by Canadian John Cannon and others. Last I knew, that Grand Sport was owned by Bob Patterson in California.

Patterson sold the car year ago to Tom Armstrong out of Seattle, and Armstrong sold it about five years ago. I think John H. knows the name of the current owner.

Tom sold #003 to a hedge fund manager (don't recall his name) in California for $4M+.

Here's the GS...

I spoke to Tom this past summer. Certainly sounded as though he has second thoughts about selling the GS (who wouldn't!). He's recently completed restoration on a Greenwood C3 (think it's a 77). Here's a photo of #003 that I took when Tom was racing it at the SOVREN Historic races near Seattle about 5 years ago. Didn't know it was the last time I'd see it actually racing side-by-side with other Corvettes... certainly miss seeing that car on the track every summer.
