I have a 68 and I'm glad to measure mine. Are you concerned about size or the mounting points?

The lid of the 68 headlamp door housing assemblies are smaller than the 69-82. As I recall, they are about an 1" shorter in the front edge to rear edge dimension. The 68 headlamp door housing assemblies are not reproduced and they have not been available from GM in many years. Most of the other parts of the headlamp units, including supports, bezels, etc., are interchangeable with later years.
Very late 68s MAY have used the 69-82 headlamp doors.In Appreciation of John HinckleyComment
