    327/340 Rebuild - Thanks !

Thanks to all for your tremendous insight on my rebuild project. I had placed my engine in the hands of a less informed machinist and almost had my 327/340 transformed into a 327/250 for a little less than three grand. With the right questions, I found a highly reputable machinist to do the job right {151 cam -
sorry Duke } I look forward to using the NCRS service again.

The LT-1 cam makes a bit more torque from off idle to the rev limit than the 151 The 151 will be about the same at the low end, which is to say, a bit stronger than the Duntov, and about the same at the Duntov at the top end - a bit weaker than the LT-1, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the performance. The 151 is an excellent all around street HP cam for a 327.
