Looking through ebay I spotted auction:
Seems to be a nice car that is claimed to be fully documented and reviewed by Roy Sinor and given his OK as correct. What stood out for me was the use of the engine code MR on the stamp pad. All the early 69 M22 equipped cars (into the 20,000 vin) that I have seen have been engine code IT. Late cars with open chamber heads code LO. This car has a MR code. It is vin 10179 which would be a Dec 68 build. The JG states that there were M code engines but they didn’t appear until mid Feb. 69. Can anyone out there confirm the use of the MR engine code for 1969 L88s and when it was introduced?
