While restoring the frame on my 67 rodaster I found original shim marks and an orange and green mark on the front end. Does anyone know what the colored marks represent? I have attached a photo of the marks as I found them. I thought they were pretty cool so I did my best to preserve them. They are still on the car. I will post the after resto. photo as well. I haven't figured out how to post 2 pics at one time (anyone care to school me?). I also have pics of the pristine stencil with shim marks if anyone cares to see it for restoration purposes.
I assume the colors represent a QA portion of the chassis.
As an example:
Green = engine secured
Orange = suspension secured
