Is it just on the sides or 360 degrees.

Back in the spring or summer 07 there was a thread about this. Also a thread named "dated hoods?" or something like that I posted around the same time. Try not to remove the hood date stamp under the front lip.

It's 360. But the front of the underside of the hood, didn't get masked like the sides did. Hard to explain.

The demarcation on the sides was somewhat definite. Not as fine as a taped line. But it looks like a mask was held up to the sides. The demarcation line is at the ridge line. The front is a lot more messy and uneven. Not sure about how it was done where the sides meet the front. In my sample, cars were done differently. I forget how the back edge of the hood was done. Most or all of this is covered by the weatherstrip.

I'm doing this now. So when I went to the National in Boston last summer, I took a bunch of pictures of this. Send me your email address, and I'll forward some of them to you. (I'm at a different computer now that the one that has the pictures.)
