Poking through my 29-59 truck and pass car(inc Corvette) parts book of 1500+ pages, I noticed about 10 pages of hardware, with pictures along with part numbers, dimensions and manuf data. Nuts, bolts, clips, pipes, plain/lock washers, etc.
If enough interest I can put them all up on my server for you. Example below.
Here are the 12 pages of hardware. I would imagine many of these are for later years too. The part# may be the same but due to manuf diffs some of these may not be right. Should be helpful to some. I've never seen any published info on this stuff. I like to share. It helps our cause.
Enjoy....Rich
ps just use your browser "save" button to save each file locally. You should be able to zoom for better clarity too.
Re: Nuts & Bolts & Hardware Part # Info Found
RICH----
Yes, older editions of the P&A Catalog do have a section with standard parts, which include fasteners and other items. However, understand that some of these fasteners are SERVICE-only pieces, some are the same as PRODUCTION and have the same part number used in PRODUCTION but the VAST majority of fasteners used in PRODUCTION will not be found in any of the P&A Catalogs. There were WAY too many different fasteners used in PRODUCTION for GMSPO to carry in SERVICE inventory.
Re: Nuts & Bolts & Hardware Part # Info Found
Rich,Thanks very much. I certainly appreciate it. The old standard parts book has a lot of this but everytime I look for some hardware it is typically not there. John DeGregory
