OK, my '65 print shows the '814 as being the reference drawing the '65 was created from, so they would be very close. BTW, the only 10 ga wire in the harness is the 2B running from the horn relay back to the starter solenoid (116.4 inches)
That's the wire in which I'm interested. It's the only wire that carries all the current for whatever is 'on' in the car except for the starter. So, 116 inches is the proper length. The ammeter connects to either end of this wire to measure the voltage drop and current direction in the red wire. 116" sounds more appropriate than 33". Glad you caught me before I cut any wire.
