After removing my bumpers I know several bolts are not original so I'm not sure what size they should be. I have searched the archives and found bits and pieces of information. I'm looking for a listing of the correct size of bolts for the front and rear bumpers and braces. When I look at the listings of reproductions offered they typically list the bolts as a set without listing sizes for specific applications. If anyone can point me in the direction of where to find the list I would appreciate it. Thanks for any help!!

Re: 67 Bumper Bolts
If you are looking for originality, the bolt kits I've purchased don't measure up. Having said that, if you are missing some original bolts, original replacement bolts are difficult to find and your only option might be a bolt kit. Paragon has a bolt chart available that is helpful but not "gospel".
I elected to reuse my original bolts after purchasing the bolt kits.- Top

Re: 67 Bumper Bolts
Take a look at your AIM, section 14 for my year 64. For 64 there are different lenght bolts for certain locations. A few of mine were missing also so I purchased the kit and only used what I needed. Note, the nut size was 100% wrong, so keep these. Also found the flat washers were not exact and did not use. Try Richard Fortier who runs ad in Driveline, understand he has some good stuff.- Top

Re: 67 Bumper Bolts
Hello;
Adding to Steve and Alan response.
I believe the bumper attaching nuts are 7/16 14 w/ a 5/8" wrench size. As opposed to the nuts supplied w/ the current kits being sold.
You can buy them from a nut & bolt salesman(usually sell to local car dealers).
If you can't find them, email and I will get them for you w/ my supplier.
Hope this helps.

Re: 67 Bumper Bolts
Steve:
If any of the bolts are original, find them in your AIM. Then check the part numbers. See if any of the bolts in the AIM are where the non original bolts are and check those numbers. If the numbers for the non original bolts are the same as your known originals then you have the length and head mrkings so you can replace the non original ones. I just went through this process on my '69 and ordered the bolts from Caledonia. They have "A" head markings which are right for my car but I can't speak for yours. Also the Parts and Accessories Catologue shows every bolt and lists the lenght. Hope this helps.

It's Caledonia Classic Cars. They don't appear to have a website but their phone number is 888-245-5224. I just opened an shipment form them that I ordered 2 days ago. Good service, bad attitude. The fellow I dealt with was quite rude but I needed what he had so I lived with it.

John:
I have known of them and done business with them for many years going back the '80's. I believe they were the first to offer frame sections, gussets, windshield frame repair parts, etc.Their parts are quite good. The guy I dealt with this time (Gary) was extremely rude and sarcastic. I simply said I wanted to place an order and asked 1 or 2 questions about the parts I was orderng. I don't know what set him off- maybe he was having a bad day. Hope others have better luck.
