78 Pace Car paint and decal question

I am currently repainting my 78 L82 4spd Pace car #1660. I wanted to know if there is an "official" document that applies to the 2 tone paint scheme and where the lines should be. I did find some info in the AIM Manual, but if something better is out there I would like to have that as well. I also cannot find anything showing the correct placement or location for all the decals. Does such a thing exist?

Your best reference is the AIM. Page 563 guided factory workers and reference the "peak line." Having said that an instruction sheet came in the box with decals guided the dealer/owner on where to place decals. I can scan and send electronically if you don't have access to either. Drop me an email
