    Bare Metal Protection

When I restored my 1967 Corvette convertible prior to its first showing at the 1994 Cypress Gardens Winter Regional NCRS Meet, I used "Coricone 1700 Metal Sealer" to protect those prone to rust metal parts. When first applied, it is colorless and is difficult to detect. Seven years later, those parts have not rusted but the Coricone has yellowed. A cloth dampened with laquer thinner may be used to gently wipe the yellow color off and if additional protection is required, a light spray of Coricone will do the trick. Several times this car has been used for the advanced judging seminars at NCRS Winter Regional Meets. Maybe you remember it?

I am not endorsing this product ... just admitting to its use and sharing information among us.

Coricone 1700 Metal Sealer comes in 10 oz. spray cans and was manufactured by:
